Create a V5 API key
In OKX, open API, create an API key, and choose a name dedicated to Kairox. OKX will ask for a passphrase, which is required in Kairox.

OKX requires three values for a full connection: API Key, API Secret, and passphrase. Kairox uses them to route crypto orders compatible with your configuration.
This part happens in the broker or platform interface. The goal is to create credentials dedicated to Kairox, with only the permissions needed for trading.
In OKX, open API, create an API key, and choose a name dedicated to Kairox. OKX will ask for a passphrase, which is required in Kairox.
Enable read and trading. Do not grant withdrawal rights. If you have a fixed IP address, apply an IP restriction to the key.
Retrieve the API Key, API Secret, and passphrase. All three must belong to the same OKX API key.
Once access is ready, create the connection from the Kairox dashboard. The system will use it to prepare orders according to market, symbol, and risk limits.
In Connect Brokers & Exchanges, select a crypto category, then OKX.
Add the connection name, API Key, API Secret, and API Passphrase. Without the passphrase, OKX execution will be rejected.
Check that allowed symbols and market type match your OKX account. This avoids sending an order to a product that is not enabled.
Use this mapping to avoid pasting a secret into the wrong field. Labels match the Connect Brokers & Exchanges form.
Create or check your keys, then add the connection in Kairox from the user workspace.
